Criminal Defense Attorney Samantha Angelastro was born and raised in Orlando, Florida. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Economics from Florida State University in 2016. Ms. Angelastro graduated from The Florida State University College of Law in 2019 magna cum laude in the top 10% of her class (12 out of 150 students). Ms. Angelastro served as a research assistant to the nationally renowned author, researcher, and Professor, Wayne A. Logan. Ms. Angelastro spent over a year researching niche Fourth Amendment topics in preparation for Wayne A. Logan’s writing and publication of a Criminal Procedure focused Treatise entitled Florida Search and Seizure Law (LexisNexis 2020). While in law school, Ms. Angelastro received the Book Award (top grade in the class) for three courses including Criminal Procedure – Adjudication, Criminal Litigation Skills, and Family Law. During her time in law school, she polished and strengthened her knowledge of Criminal Law by interning at multiple Public Defender’s Offices, both State and Federal. Ms. Angelastro has spent a large amount of her time in the courtroom passionately advocating for the Constitutional rights of her clients.


Ms. Angelastro is a proud member of the Central Florida Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, as well as the Young Lawyers Section of the Florida Bar.

Samantha Angelastro took the Florida Bar in July of 2019 and received a top score. She was invited to make a speech at the Fifth District Court of Appeals at the Ceremony for Newly Inducted Attorneys to the Florida Bar.

Ms. Angelastro began her career in August of 2019 at the Office of the Public Defender in Orange County, Florida. For two years, Ms. Angelastro fought for her client’s rights in the courtroom and participated in numerous court hearings such as trials and pre-trial motions.

Ms. Angelastro is extremely passionate about her work and helping her clients through a confusing and difficult time in their lives. She is always prepared to do what it takes to get a favorable outcome for her clients. She firmly believes that the best outcomes for her client comes from her attention to detail, hard work, and tireless preparation.
