Alexa Rimmer

Alexa RimmerAlexa Rimmer is a dedicated criminal defense attorney at the Joshi Law Firm, where she provides skilled and strategic representation to clients facing a wide range of criminal charges. Her experience spans from criminal traffic and DUI cases to serious felony matters, and she approaches each case with the focus and diligence it deserves.

Before joining the Joshi Law Firm, Alexa served as an Assistant Public Defender at the Ninth Judicial Circuit Public Defender’s Office, where she gained extensive courtroom and trial experience. During her time there, she handled hundreds of cases and mentored newer attorneys, earning a reputation for both her legal acumen and leadership. In addition to her public service, Alexa has also worked as a private criminal defense attorney, giving her a well-rounded perspective on the justice system and the unique challenges clients face. Both roles have deeply informed and shaped her practice, contributing to her effectiveness as a criminal defense lawyer today.

Alexa graduated cum laude from Florida State University College of Law in 2018. She also holds a Bachelor of Science in Political Science and International Affairs from Florida State University, which she earned in 2016.
